C.I.Surface Plates provide precision base for tool making, marking and checking the accuracy of other surfaces. Surface plates are made of close-grained wear resistent cast iron having minimum hardness of 180 BHN. The casting of Surface Plates are stress relieved to relieve internal stresses. The Plates are provided with suitable cover for protection of the surface. The column type C.I. floor stands or M.S.Fabricated stands with levelling screws are provided at extra cost. C.I.Bed Plates and Marking Table can also be supplied.
